WILYMI was born out of a deeply personal journey led by its founder, Romina. In 2020, as the world grappled with the upheaval brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, Romina, an accomplished film and television actor and former professional dancer, suddenly found herself without work. The pause in artistic expression, social connection, and creative collaboration was a difficult and disorienting time.

In search of grounding and purpose, Romina turned to a long-held passion: jewelry making. What had begun as a childhood hobby became a much-needed outlet, offering comfort and intentionality during an uncertain period. Each piece she had handcrafted served as a quiet affirmation that everything would, with time be all right.

Unexpectedly, the pieces struck a chord beyond her inner circle. Friends and even strangers began to take notice, often stopping her to ask about her jewelry and, on more than one occasion, offering to purchase pieces right off her. By the end of 2021, what began as a healing creative pursuit had transformed into a full-fledged business, supported by a small, dedicated team of women aligned with Romina’s vision.

At the heart of WILYMI is Romina’s guiding question: “Would I wear this? Would I buy this? Does this intention inspire me to feel more capable?” It’s this principle that drives each design and connects the brand with a community of individuals who seek meaning, intention, and consciousness in the way they adorn themselves.
