March Reflections: In Good Company

March arrives with a bit more light in the day and a different kind of energy in the air. In the studio, it’s also a moment when we pause and take stock, because March marks International Women’s Month. It feels like the right time to talk about the community that surrounds WILYMI and the impact we hope to have beyond the pieces themselves.
WILYMI has always been shaped by women. The ones designing, producing, packaging, photographing, and the ones wearing the jewelry out in the world. Every order that leaves the studio carries a little piece of that collective energy.
Coming from a performance background, I’ve always believed that what we wear can shift how we move through the day. Jewelry might be small, but it can carry a surprising amount of meaning. A ring that reminds you of your own strength. A pair of hoops that becomes part of your everyday armor. Tiny sculptures that live with you through meetings, dinners, rehearsals, late nights, and early mornings.
This month especially, we’ve been thinking about what it means to support the next generation of women.
WILYMI is proud to donate a portion of our proceeds to Girls Inc., an organization dedicated to empowering and inspiring young girls. Their work supports mental health awareness, leadership development, and social change, helping girls grow into confident young women who know their voices matter.
You can learn more about their mission and programs here: https://www.girlsinc.org/
Supporting their work means that every purchase contributes to something bigger than the studio. It helps fund programs that encourage girls to take up space, pursue their ambitions, and build the kind of future where they can thrive.
For us, sustainability has never just been about recycled metals or ethically sourced materials (though those matter deeply to us). It’s also about building something that lasts socially and culturally. A business that uplifts people. A community that invests in what comes next.
We’re grateful to be building this alongside so many thoughtful, creative women around the world. Thank you for wearing the pieces, sharing your stories, and being part of this growing circle.
March is a good reminder that when women support each other, the impact multiplies.
