The Late February Shift: Finding Our Footing

It’s February 26th, and I don't know about you, but I’m officially in that "between" state. We’re shaking off the heavy layers of winter, but it’s not quite spring yet. In the studio, this is usually when we start leaning into the pieces that feel like a second skin—the "jewelry uniform" that gets us through the transition without much fuss.
Coming from a background in performance, I’ve always viewed jewelry as a bit of a costume for real life. It’s that one grounding element that says "I’ve got this," even when the weather (or my inbox) says otherwise. At WILYMI, we’re a small team of women who are constantly growing and—let’s be honest—figuring it out as we go. But one thing we’re always certain about is the weight of a good piece of metal.
We’ve been talking a lot lately about "modern heirlooms," which sounds very fancy, but to us, it just means something that won't fall apart or go out of style by next Tuesday. Whether it’s the ÉCUME Pearl Crown Coil Hoops (which I’ve been wearing with basically everything lately) or the BELOVED Square Mother of Pearl Ring, we’re obsessed with the idea that these pieces are made from recycled metals and ethically sourced pearls. It’s sustainability that doesn't feel like a sacrifice.
I’ve been seeing so many of you tagging us in your daily looks, and honestly, it’s the highlight of our week. There’s a certain confidence in the way our community wears these pieces—a "quiet authority" that we’re so proud to be a part of.
As we wrap up the month and head toward a new season, thank you for being in our corner. It’s a joy to grow alongside you.
